Veteran school teacher, magician, and entertainer!
Lots of things can be said about Mike, like he has immortality or heat ray vision. He has been performing both stand-up magic and close-up sleight-of-hand magic for 20 years for all ages. As a successful close-up magician, he has performed for a wide range of audiences, from corporate events to private parties to Bar Mitzvah celebrations.
Mike’s career in magic started ironically enough with magic tricks using science. Many of them he learned from TV and Mr. Wizard, Don Herbert! By the time Mike was in college he was a confident juggler and looking to expand his repertoire. A single magic book got Mike on his path to magic. That interest also landed Mike a job in the local magic shop while he was still in school, this was another way for him to hone his skills and study the art of magic.
In addition to his magic career, Mike is a veteran elementary school teacher, science curriculum writer, and certified administrator. He holds a Masters in Teaching from Loyola University and has been the recipient of several educational honors.
The combination of magician, teacher, scientist and juggler is as a spectacular combination. Expect nothing less than that when you see the Science and Magic Show!
